Veteran television journalists Ruth Cabal of CNN Philippines and Sherrie Ann Torres of ABS-CBN will be sharing their expertise with would-be TV reporters in a two-day workshop organized by the Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ) to be held on June 30 and July 7.
The two broadcast journalists, both graduates of the Ateneo’s M.A. Journalism program, will be talking about life in broadcast news, and the skills that prospective TV reporters have to learn to succeed in the business.
The workshop will cover such topics as spotting the news, interviewing, and writing and voicing a TV script. The workshop takes place from 8:30 am to 12 noon on the two Saturdays, June 30 and July 7.
