Asian Currents is a collection of stories and research papers written by journalists as their Master’s Project, the final requirement for the Master of Arts in Journalism, a program of the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University (ACFJ).
The Master’s Project is either an in-depth report or a study of journalism institutions, practices and processes. It represents a synthesis of the journalist-students’ accumulated knowledge, skills and values, and also provide them an opportunity to contribute insights and new knowledge to Asian journalism as well as issues of importance to the region.
