Are you a trainor or a teacher in high school or college journalism or photojournalism? Or do you simply want to learn more about this field from the veterans? Then here’s the course for you.

Photojournalism for Educators” is a five-day training workshop that will provide teachers the tools and experience to enable them to better teach photojournalism to high school and college students.

The training workshop takes place at the Asian Center for Journalism classroom at the Ateneo de Manila University with award-winning journalists and photojournalists handling classes ranging from the fundamentals of photojournalism to writing news and captions to developing lesson plans.

The workshop provides time for participants to engage in a hands-on experience of covering news, feature or documentary photography stories as well as editing photographs.  Participants will also get the chance to have their work critiqued by professionals, and have them published on the ACFJ website.

ACFJ will hold three batches of this course in April, May and June. The schedules are:

Batch 1 – April 24 to 28

Batch 2 – May 15 to 19

Batch 3 – June 5 to 9
