This year’s submission deadline for the Diploma in Photojournalism has been moved to Thursday, October 30.

The Diploma in Photojournalism is a distance-learning program offering five courses including the development of a portfolio as a final product. These courses are conducted through a hybrid of online and on-campus sessions—a strategy ACFJ has used successfully since 2002 to bring its programs to media professionals. The program, started in 2006, has been jointly designed by ACFJ and World Press Photo, the Amsterdam-based media NGO.

Admission is limited to 12 students and scholarships are available on a competitive basis. The grant covers tuition, travel expenses, and allowances.

Since its launch, 78 journalists from seven Asian countries have completed the program.
