Applications for the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University’s (ACFJ) Certificate Course in Media and Politics are being accepted until Saturday, 04 July 2015. Classes begin on July 20 and end on September 20.
Certificate Course in Media and Politics is the second stand-alone course offering of ACFJ for this year. The course is designed at introducing students to the intertwined relationship between media and politics in a wide range of contexts, from closed autocracies to consolidated democracies.
International communication lecturer Dr Jason Vincent Cabañes will handle the course. Dr Cabañes teaches the graduate course ‘The Media and Democratisation: Global Perspectives’ at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. He also served as lecturer and MA Journalism program coordinator at the Ateneo de Manila University Department of Communication.
All courses are held online using Blackboard, an online learning management system.
