The Asian Center for Journalism is holding a forum titled “Covering Marawi: Stories from a war zone,” on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 4-6 p.m. at the Escaler Hall of the Ateneo de Manila University.
Journalists Chiara Zambrano of ABS-CBN, Jamela Alindogan of Al Jazeera and photojournalist Jes Aznar will speak about stories they covered in Marawi as well as stories that didn’t make it to the news. They will help us answer the questions: Beyond the body count, what is really happening in Marawi? And why should the rest of the country be concerned?
