Applications for ACFJ’s 2015 Certificate Courses are now being accepted. The application deadline for the first course, Writing for Social Media, is on 15 May 2015. Classes begin on June 1 and end on July 28.
The Certificate Program offers stand-alone courses in the following special fields of reporting: Writing for Social Media; and Media and Politics. It seeks to raise the bar for journalism in Asia through short-term university-based training designed for reporters, editors and professionals in allied fields.
Social media expert Arlene Burgos will facilitate Writing for Social Media while international communication lecturer Dr Jason Cabañes will facilitate the Media and Politics course.
All courses are held online using Blackboard, an online learning management system.
