Ateneo M.A. Journalism graduates Camille Elemia (fourth from left) and Walter Balane (first on right) recently took part in the Reporting ASEAN Fellowships and were in Bangkok for the Reporting ASEAN Media Forum held Feb. 17-19, 2017. Elemia, who writes for Rappler, produced a three-part in-depth report on Filipino migrants in Malaysia as part of her fellowship grant. Balane, who teaches at the Bukidnon State University and writes for MindaNews, is doing a series of stories on the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA).
