The Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University is now accepting applications for the Diploma in Visual Journalism for 2017.

The program, which will last for eight months, is designed to give Asian journalists, news photographers and videographers a wider theoretical and practical perspective on visual storytelling for news events.

The program covers five courses—Fundamentals of visual journalism, visual storytelling/literacy, journalistic writing for multimedia, multimedia platform practices, and the final portfolio and publication.  The course is taught in a mix of online learning and on-campus sessions.

Fellowships are available for eligible practicing journalists, and discounts granted to teachers and academicians and other school personnel. Fees for the program and application form downloads can be accessed in the Diploma in Visual Journalism page.

Applicants submit all documents by 27 January 2017
