The Ateneo de Manila University is still accepting applicants to its M.A. Journalism program for school year 2016-2017. The deadline for international applicants is on Thursday, 31 March 2016, while local applicants have until 15 June 2016 to apply.

Designed for working journalists, the MA Journalism program is a two-year hybrid distance-learning program. Online class sessions take place via the learning management system Blackboard, and classroom sessions take place at the Ateneo’s Loyola Heights campus in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

The curriculum is made up of 12 courses including courses in ethics and specialized reporting and writing courses such as International Reporting, Investigative Journalism and Reporting about Religions. The program’s design allows working journalists and other media professionals to study at their own pace and time, and in their own homes or workplaces.

The international faculty includes experienced journalists and academics from Australia, Canada, US, UK, Germany, the Philippines, India and Malaysia. Interested applicants may also visit this site for information on fees. http://www.admu.edu.ph/ls/graduate/graduate-level-tuition-and-fees
